Twenty years ago, in a 20 square meters small store, it was created the company that is now a national and international reference in the development and manufacture of multimedia kiosks, digital billboards, self-service equipment, interactive tables and other solutions for all types of sectors and industries was created. With more than 15 thousand units produced for more than 35 countries, the portfolio is extensive.
PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS, with around 40 employees at the moment, also has more than 100 standard models and believes it works with the best brands and companies. Technological evolution has made consumers increasingly demanding and PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS is constantly reflecting and imagining new ways to make the most of technology to improve the population's quality of life.

Founded in 2000 by Miguel Soares, PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS initially planned to commercialize attendance control systems. However, they would come to realize that these systems would not be profitable. Thus, the need to find new products and services to leverage the company's sales led the current CEO and founder of the company to develop a website for PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS, in order to promote products related to information technology.
They quickly spread the word among friends and acquaintances so that PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS could develop its websites. Then there was a bet on web training, which became the company's focus. A few years later, in 2004, PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS had already extended the business to multimedia applications. But it was an order for an interactive kiosk that debuted what is now the business of this company in Vila Nova de Famalicão.
Currently, PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS, whose process is completely controlled inside doors (designs, develops, manufactures and installs), exports to dozens of countries and remains committed to developing consumer-oriented products and services in a creative and innovative way.
NOMYU is the result of the work of engineers and designers who presented a product that is, in addition to being technologically innovative, a disruptive brand in terms of design, usability and ergonomics, since it is possible to maintain the product's identity regardless of any configuration or components used.
NOMYU was developed to be used anywhere – indoor or outdoor – and is suitable for any situation. It can operate in a temperature range between minus 40 degrees and 55 degrees and features an advanced intelligent remote control system – The Brain. These and other characteristics earned him, in 2017, the prize for the most innovative kiosk in the world, in the field of tourism.
PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS success in the development of multimedia kiosks provides a unique experience in several sectors of activity. PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS is therefore proud to have a well-defined national and international growth strategy and intends, with this, to conquer even more markets. In addition, it is committed not only to supporting social causes and institutions (through the “We Care” project), but also to ensuring that the company and its activities don’t have a negative impact on the environment and communities.
About the future of the company, Miguel Soares, CEO and founder of PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS, believes that this “goes through touch, self-checkin, self-buy, that is, everything that allows people to carry out transactions with the greatest convenience and speed as possible and, in most cases, with minimal interaction and intervention by people”. “And in this chapter, the PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS company continues (and will continue) to develop new concepts, ideas and products, precisely to respond to these needs”, he adds.
Currently in dialogue with some universities, PARTTEM has even received “a contact from a Silicon Valley company to develop some technological projects related to technology in healthcare, retail or for public administration”, reveals the administrator, who also has in mind, soon, the change of facilities.
Faced with the new reality we are experiencing – and with a view to greater population safety, as well as greater environmental awareness – PARTTEAM is now developing solutions that combine technology with the environment, health and well-being, so it even created a new brand: Hambire.
This line includes, for example, digital city purifiers, gel dispensing kiosks with body temperature sensors, disinfection equipment using UV-C and disinfection tunnels. In addition to this brand, another one is being designed – ZEFIRUS, which will allow to remove and filter the air, removing particles such as PH2.5 and PH10, which are very harmful to people's health. The aim of this latest project is to improve air quality, hence the idealization of an air purifier for cities with integrated digital billboard.
Recognized with several awards, such as the Pantou Accredited Suppplier (which distinguishes technological companies that contribute to the creation of a reliable and comprehensive international guide for all types of tourism services), the Start & Go Internationalization Award (which distinguishes small and medium-sized companies that stand out for their entrepreneurial side) or SME LEADER, PARTTEAM & OEMKIOSKS intends to continue working for “the benefit of consumers and technological evolution”, trying to anticipate the needs and difficulties that customers may have in the future, concludes Miguel Soares.
